I'm Craig Mayo, a Los Angeles video editor with nearly 30 years in broadcast post-production. I've spent most of my career at CBS/Paramount cutting Dr. Phil, work that has earned me five Emmy nominations for editing.

It started at Cal State Long Beach, where I studied film and made my own movies. Somewhere along the way I realized the part I loved most was editing them, and that has been the thread ever since. My first break came on a show called Montana Live, followed by Eco-Challenge Australia.

Over the years I've cut daytime talk, episodic segments, show teases, and branded and social spots. Credits include Dr. Phil, Paradise Run, Dating No Filter, iCrime, The Flying Fercos and Modelland, among other shows, plus work for Game Show Network and branded work for Authentic Escapes and Dignity Health.

I cut on Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Away from the edit bay, I run marathons, and I recently built a new museum app called Artrekker.
